Today Hannah returned to the pediatrician’s office for her weigh-in. This was also a big milestone for me, as it was the first time I drove Hannah in the car by myself. Marcus had done all of the driving to date.

Hannah was 8lbs, 4oz last Monday (the 13th), which was up from her discharge weight of 8lbs, 1oz. The doctor’s expectation was to see her weigh in at at least 8lbs, 11oz.

Our chunky monkey weighed in at 8lbs, 14oz, which puts her in the 85th percentile for 11 days old. She continues to get stronger, and the doctor is very pleased with her progress.  Her next appointment is a one month check up in March.
