Nice doggy
I took Hannah to Target, and when I wasn’t looking she grabbed this skeleton off the shelf and said ‘nice doggy’ and proceeded to cuddle it. Lexie should be scared.
Marcus then decided to make Hannah’s year by getting her a hellhound version.
For a kid who first kicked on Halloween, this all makes a lot of sense.
What a surprise!
Hannah went for her follow-up to last month’s ear infection today. We kept the appointment despite seeing the ENT on Tuesday because she developed a bit of a croupy cough over the past couple of days.
Well, guess what!?! She’s got another ear infection that has developed since Tuesday.
December 7th can’t come soon enough.

Surgery scheduled
Hannah’s second surgery is scheduled for December 7th. This will give her the weekend to recover at home before heading back to daycare.
Surgery, take 2
Hannah’s ENT has recommended that the tubes be reinserted and that her adenoids also be removed.
Northwestern will reach out to us and we will schedule the next surgery. The recovery period should be the same, but the adenoid removal apparently comes with the added side effect of bad baby breath for a few days. So yuck, but it will make her healthier overall so we will do it.
